My name is Christina – aka Chrissy – and I am a 2D/3D artist based in Germany. My journey with Computer Graphics startet with Photoshop back in 1992. Yepp, more than 30 years ago, as I am 2writing this in 2024. 3D has been a part of my life almost as long, I startet with Cinema4D in 1994 and I was hooked on 3D from the start. And I still am, although the software I use nowadays as well as the field I am specialized in completely changed.

On occasion I still use C4D (but never will go back to other apps like 3ds Max, Maya and ZBrush, none of them made it longer than 1 year in my workflow), but my main app for 3D modelling has been Blender for more than a decade. If you are interested in my personal history with Blender, there is a blog post about that: Blender And Me

For many years I was specialized in hard surface assets, mainly cars and boats, but a lot of sci-fi stuff and ArchViz as well. That completely changed a few years back within only a few months when I discovered Clo 3D, the big sister of Marvelous Designer. Clo gave me the opportunity to mix 3D with one of my hobbies, which is sewing my own clothes. I have been sewing since I was 12, so over 40 years, and when I got my hands on Clo 3D I was blown away. I started doing RL patterns for my own clothing, but quickly discovered there was a huge market for such patterns here in Germany.

And although I have to turn down lots of projects with tight deadlines due to serious health issues, nowadays I still make the most part of my living being a Digital Patternmaker. But other 3D stuff still is a fascinating part of my life as well. When I can’t work on client projects, I try to do as much personal or teaching projects as possible. I love passing on my skills, which is why I created this platform. You can read more about this on the page All for free?

Have a great time
